Hot Wings Dip with Honey and Sriracha

This dip is a crowd-pleaser for any tailgate party. It has all the flavors of hot wings, but in a creamy and cheesy dip that you can scoop up with chips or celery sticks. The honey and sriracha add a balance of sweetness and heat, while the blue cheese and ranch dressing add a tangy and creamy touch. You can make this dip in the oven or in a slow cooker, depending on your preference.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup sriracha sauce
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup blue cheese dressing
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

PREPARATION

MAKE THE DIP IN THE OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with the honey, sriracha, and butter until well coated.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the blue cheese dressing and ranch dressing and mix well.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer. Spoon the chicken mixture over the cheese layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the chicken layer.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with tortilla chips and celery sticks.

MAKE THE DIP IN THE SLOW COOKER

  1. In a large bowl, toss the chicken with the honey, sriracha, and butter until well coated.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the blue cheese dressing and ranch dressing and mix well.
  3. Spray a 3- or 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the cream cheese layer. Spoon the chicken mixture over the cheese layer and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the chicken layer.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or until heated through. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with tortilla chips and celery sticks.
